Are you happy with your current life situation?

Do you have enough money? Can you buy everything you need? Can you travel as much as you want? Can you offer your family all they need? Are you just happy?

Often times, the answer can be no. For me, it is that. And I know that I’m not the only one.

But why? Why you and I can’t answer yes?

Because we do not live up to our potential. I know that I don’t. And believe me, it doesn’t make me happy. But inside I know that I am capable of so much more. I know what I can achieve and do. But yet, currently, I’m not doing it.

Again, why? Why aren’t I living up to my potential?

The answer is…I know and I don’t know.

I know that I need to get rid of some fears that make me procrastinate and stops me from doing some vital things to achieve success. I know that I need to value time even more. I know that I need to take some risks, even when I do not have all the answers. I know that when I do not change something, life will stay the same. And I don’t want that.

But to come to the “I don’t know” part – I don’t know why I’m not doing what I need to do. I don’t know why these changes take so much time (because I’m aware of the blocks in my life and I try to come out of my comfort zone).

What has helped me?

The thing which seems so simple. And too many times I haven’t followed it. In last weeks, I have tried to start following it. And until now, everything seems good 🙂 Advice is – stop overthinking (& flinching) – JUST DO (or say and go or whatever you need to do). Our brain can be quite evil sometimes. You start thinking about things and suddenly, they seem too risky or dangerous or something else. 99,9% times, nothing bad happens.

When you want to say something to someone – say! Just recently I participated an awesome workshop. In the end of it, I wanted to thank people. And kaboom, the brain was quick and told: “Maybe you should not say that. Is this reasonable thing to say? How others will think?” Like what? And then, I just decided to ignore that and said what I wanted. And it felt good. And everyone liked it. Nothing bad happened 🙂 Yes, I know, for some, this “problem” can seem so little and nonsense. But I know that for a lot of people these small things can hold them back so much.

The same problem can be with social media. Let’s assume that you want to post something you created (a picture, an article or whatever). But suddenly, you start thinking what others will think about it. Your good friend definitely wouldn’t like that. Right? Get rid of this kind of thinking. Stop.

Make it stop.

Trust your instincts. When you know that you would like to do something, just do. Take that risk. Just do it. See what happens. Don’t think. Give yourself a possibility to get better and enjoy life. I will try to do it definitely. I need to get rid of things that hold me back in my life. I need to stop blocking my success.
